The methodology for determining the volume of wood exploited by certified operators and the area covered with cuts
In 2002, the paper "The System of Forestry Statistical Indicators" was written by BCS and ICAS and a pilot survey was done. By Order of the NIS President no. 398 / 2004, regarding the Methodology of determining the wood volume exploited by the certified operators and the surface covered with cuts, the methodological framework was decided in accordance with the EU standards and the requests of the domestic users. In the prezent this methodology, updated according to European legislation, is approved by Order of the INS nr.617/09.02.2011.
