Determine the number of employees by groups of basic salaries and average gross salaries earned, of gross average earnings by gender, economic activity and groups of occupations, in October
All active units with legal personality, whose main activity is part of CANE Rev.2 divisions, code 01-96. The economic enterprises with 50 employees and more are exhaustively surveyed. Budgetary sector units (public administration, education, health and social assistance), are exhaustively comprised into the survey, except public local administration units, for which data at level of local communal council are collected based on representative sample at county level. For economic sector, units of four employees and over were included in the survey, representing 90.59% of total employees in this sector in 2012.

Starting with reference year 2013, the statistical survey on salaries in October will be based exclusively on administrative data sources.
The methodology and organization of The Statistical Survey on Salaries in October
According to the Decision CAM nr.11/2002 to reduce the respondents' burden and avoid redundant data collection, the questionnaire structure was established alternate fot the statistical survey on salaries in October, as follows: - Three consecutive years - as developed (eg 2007, 2008, 2009): - Chapter I - Distribution of employees by salary groups; - Chapter II - Number of employees, gross amount due and working time, major groups of occupations and occupations in October xxxx; - The fourth year - short form (eg 2006, 2010): - Chapter I - Distribution of employees by salary groups; - Chapter II - Number of employees on 31 October xxxx major groups of occupations. The decision was based on the fact that every four years, according to the European regulations, the Structure of Earnings Survey (SES) is carried out, that provides information on earnings by occupation for October (the same as provided by Chapter II of the form S2 developed, used for three consecutive years).
