Short history of activity:	Data regarding the total number of tractors and major agricultural machinery, at the end of the year, were established on the basis regarding the reports of statistical and accounting balances prepared by the agricultural units, since 1938. Park tractor regarding the 1938 year was based on the paperwork ''Machine tools and agricultural statistics during 1937 year'' elaborated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Estates. For the remaining years, until 1990, data were determined from reports of statistical and balance sheets. Since then, the series of data on tractors and major agricultural machinery were improved by adding new indicators needed for an economic calculations, the datahave been obtain from statistical reports, until 2005, when statistical data source has become the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
